While many expectant parents may have certainly heard about 3D/4D baby scanning, most are unaware of exactly what this technology entails.  This 4D ultrasound is quite specialized and not offered as a part of your NHS scan appointments.  Therefore, our baby scan centres in Edinburgh and Stirling offer a unique, bonding experience allowing you to see the features of your baby in incredible detail.  Our studio in Edinburgh was one of the first of its kind to offer 3D/4D baby scans in Scotland making us one of the most experienced companies to date.  We attract clients from across the central belt from Livingston to Glasgow as well as further north from Stirling and Falkirk and have even had clients from as far afield as the Borders and Inverness for our 4D scans.  In fact, the demand was so high for baby scanning in the Stirling, Falkirk and Fife regions that we recently have opened a second centre offering baby scans in Stirling.  Both of our centres offer state of the art scans performed by highly trained, NHS qualified sonographers.

While your traditional NHS scans are all performed using 2D technology resulting in standard black and white images, our scan centres house 3D/4D scan probes which mean that we are able to capture footage of your baby unlike anything that you have seen before.  This technology literally captures footage of your baby moving about within the womb in three dimensions such that you are able to see the details of distinct features such as the nose, chin, and cheeks which are not apparent using 2D scanning alone.  If your wee one is a bit of a performer, you may even witness yawns, waves, winks and smiles.  Overall, our clients find the experience an incredibly rewarding way in which to bond with their developing baby.
